News: ServerSpan is becoming a bespoke managed service
Dear clients,
The work we do best is the work closest to our clients: understanding each project, shaping the infrastructure around it, and caring for it as if it were our own.
From now on, that is how ServerSpan works. Management becomes the heart of what we offer and hosting becomes part of it: designed for each client individually, with no fixed plans and no off-the-shelf specifications.
What changes
- We are retiring our standalone hosting plans in all locations. Web hosting, VPS, containers and email hosting are no longer offered on their own.
- Our Canadian location will be retired on 15 November 2026.
- Your domains stay with us and continue to renew as usual. New domain registrations are now offered as part of a management engagement.
What stays the same for you
Your current service continues exactly as it is until its renewal date, with nothing for you to do. Monthly services renew one final time in November, so there is ample time to decide what comes next.
Continuing with us
We would be delighted to keep looking after your website or server under the new arrangement. We would manage it end to end and host it on infrastructure shaped around what you actually run. Every engagement is designed and quoted individually, and we take on only a small number of clients, so each one receives our full attention. Simply reply to this message before your renewal date, and we will prepare a proposal for you.
If you choose a different path
Should you decide to move elsewhere, we will gladly help at no cost, with complete backups, exports and the DNS changeover, handled with the same care. Once a service has ended, we keep its data for 30 days, so there is no rush, and then delete it securely, backups included.
Our IPv4 leasing and server management services continue as before.
